And the most anticipating scene the family has been waiting for has come. I marked 04.02.2011 as one of the momentous event in our family. My sister's graduation. I humbly share to you some of the pics I took that day.
May I present to you my family, the Azores Family. From L-R: that's me with the curly hair. i hate to disclose my identity but i can't help it. Next to me is my mom. Unfortunately she can't come to my sister's grad cause.......never mind (im about to cry). Moving forward, obviously the only man in the picture is the most wonderful father in the whole world. he stood as both mother and father to us. He looks different now but we love him so much. (enough of this..i am really crying)..and the lady in black is my baby sister. She's only 19 y/o and very lovely, demure and very tamed. She's the kindest among the tres marias, as others fondly called us. In front of mom is my other sister, she's sometimes maarte but she's kind and very sensitive. Exactly opposite of my character. It's true indeed that though we are sister, we're different in some way.
This is my granny. Don't dare talk to her in English, mind you she maybe is better than any other granny in the world.. well that's for us. she had witnessed every graduation of ours. she even attended mine way back in high school. until now, she's present and it just feels great. Lord pls, grant her longer and healthy life. we owe so much to her and we do love her to the core.
And there goes our baby sister. Isn't she stunningly pretty? that's what you call beauty and brains. *wink*
She has got no clue that she bagged another award until she had her programme copy. the said award is from Philippine Society of Information and Technology Education where she has been awarded as the most outstanding student of I.T.
....and the award goes to.. dandan dan dan.. Ms. Jean Kenneth S. Azores!!!!! (standing ovation from her dear clssmates) ..and yes, she's a miss not mister.. I remember her grade school years. my mom had been looking for her name for long hours only to find out that hers was inlcluded in the boy's list. in our school, we have to literally find out our section by either going rooms to rooms or check in the bulletin posted outside each room. lucky me cause i'm always on A's list, the creme of the crop section :)
There goes my proud father. he's not vocal but deep within him, an over whelming joy and grateful father can be seen. Pa, this is for you and for mama. it's just the beginning of a wonderful journey to our success.
..the stage sister, yeah. i admit, i had been a stage sister but only on that day. i made sure that every angle of her must be captured in my handy cam. i know how important that day for her is. p.s. don't give much attention on my eyes, i only had 2 1/2 hrs sleep that day. i came from night shift a day before that but i don't mind. as long as my sister got every pictures of her graduation at my expense, i don't care.
This is what you call hitting 2 birds in a shot. what else can i say? I'm soooooo ppprrrrroouuudd of you baby sister.
I wanted also to thank a person whose always with us through life's hung ups. She's undeniably the kindest aunt i've ever had. Always full support ever since that i can't even remember. I'll be forever grateful to her and to the Lord up above for she's really a blessing to us. She may never know how we love her and grateful we are but Lord knows we pray for her. Thanks auntie L.P.
For those of you guys who almost are losing hope thinking that there's no way on earth you can go to school and earn diploma becuase of financial constraints, you are absolutely wrong. my sister was able to make it through sholarships. a lot out there are giving such assistance e.g goverment, private institutions, ect. whatever it is that you want to achieve can be possible. if you can imagine it then you can make it happen. just be patient and with your persevarance, i guarantee that your dream will be just within your reach. don't give up, look at the positive side, work hard for it and soon, it will pay off. as the saying goes, "kung anong itinanim mo ay siyang aanihin mo"
