Quarter Reflection: A track back

blogged by My.Name.Is.Jonna :) at Wednesday, April 25, 2012
This day, I won't be sharing make up related stuff but something personal. Part of this blog as well is to share my life experiences and matters about my own life. As we all know, the first quarter of the year ended that it made me asked myself: what had occurred during those time?

1. I was able to establish a separate account for my emergency fund and personal savings. You all agree that we need to achieve financial freedom, right? I know I should have started this from day one as an employee but I'm all now set and ready to have done this consistently and patiently. 20% of my salary will be allotted for my emergency fund and 10% of which will go to my personal savings. That's where my shopping and travel fund will come. I am thinking though of setting up an account solely for my shopping and travel. And when I say travel, that's my Asian travel. That's a graduation gift for myself! I learned that in savings, getting started is the hardest.

2. Done with the first step of my investment plan. Last month, I attended Citisec Online's Basic Stock Market Investment. The next step is to attend the Citisec Online Easy Investment Plan. I will plan it very soon and hopefully by mid June, I'm done with this.

3. I adapted Fitz Villafuerte of Ready to be Rich piggy bank system. I will only put my 5 and 10 peso coins in there.

4. I failed to enroll in summer class because the timing isn't perfect. It wasn't bad though cause I have ample of time to think "things" over. I know I have to take full load comes June.I value education as much as I value myself so in no way I'll change education for anything.

5. I am ecstatic to share that the house we bought back in the province is fully paid. We graciously embraced new year because also of this.

6. As for my career, I wouldn't say much. There have been "misunderstandings", "confusions" and "frustrations" but let me see until mid of this year. From there, I'll draft a plan as far as my career goes. I am still happy with what I am doing but as we age, we seek for growth and improvement. I assume you get me there right?

7. I'm continuously improving my blogging skills. Each day is an inspiration and gaining friends through blogosphere has never been this rewarding. It excites me most and love to post more whenever someone drops me a comment or follows me.

I may have missed my target savings for the first quarter but I can make up for it. Surviving each day, at times is quite hard but I always find happiness on it. Instead of dwelling much on life's complexities, I look for an absurdly large number of solutions. I've always been driven, so adamant about reaching my goals and dreams plus I know God is with me so there's less or nothing to worry.

How about you dear? How was your goal so far?

Yep, you are correct, with God we should never worry, no matter what.
