Back then I never really give so much attention on my face. Possibly because I never had any skin problems to deal with. When I entered college, things are just the same. I am perfectly fine with Johnson's baby powder, the pink one. As long as it's on my pouch and school bag then I am good to go.
But when I noticed that my face turned dark when I sweat after strenuous jobs even after running, I began searching for the remedy. That's when I also started caring for my face. My skin is not prone to any acne, pimples and the likes nor I am allergic to any chemical reactions. Occasionally though I get to have them but won't stay long.
Today, I would like to share how I care for my face. These routines help me achieve more radiant looking and fairer skin.
BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP
1. CLEANSE. I wash my face PONDS deep cleansing facial foam with activated carbon. I've been a PONDS facial wash/foam user for sooo long and when this was introduced, I immediately switched on to this. I love the fact that it has activated carbon which absorbs the toxins and impurities on my skin. It's not harmful either according to the study. I squeeze in small amount over my face and for 5 minutes, I gently massage my face in an upward motion while washing it. Gently pat clean towel to dry.
2. TONE. After cleansing, there will be some impurities left. To completely slough them off, I use NIVEA VISAGE REFRESHING TONER which invigorates my face. I am using the Normal to Combination variant. One bottle lasts for more than a month to me with twice application daily. I've tried several toners but this one impresses me much.
3. MOISTURIZE. I've tried the Olay and Eskinol but they are too oily for my skin. And when I say too oily I mean greasy until the next morning when I wake up so I quit. It's too heavy. I haven't found something that suits my need. Can you suggest one for me please? For now, I am using the one given to me by my cousin. It's not out in the market since it's on testing stage and I can't divulge the details about it yet. I was lucky to be their tester lol. I told the story here right? I love the bleaching agent that it has.

4. EXFOLIATE . Twice or thrice a week, I do this exfoliating. My partner is one of my favorite stuff in the bathroom, the St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub. The smell is loved. The granules are not overly size. After few minutes of scrubbing, I feel extremely different, enliven and revitalized. I never had any rashes nor aggravating effect. No wonder it has been widely used. The small amount can go a very long way.
WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING
I wash my face again with PONDS facial foam with activated carbon and applied toner.
Part of achieving radiant looking skin is to drink plenty of water and juices. So while doing my beauty mantra, I combine drinking lots of water and fruit juice to refrain from having dull skin. I am getting sufficient sleep as well. It' just ironic when I am not prone to pimples, the more eye bags I get each time I go to sleep very late.
These are all available in Watsons or other local drug store. I am not sure though if St. Ives is available in Mercury.
How about you? Would you mind sharing your beauty mantra?

These types are really crucial especially to us that has a super bad skin >_<
