I feel so productive yesterday. As you would probably know, whenever I don't have class, usually I just stayed at home, clean the house, wash my clothes and movie marathon after strolling in the virtual world. Yesterday was an entirely different day.
Last Sunday, Ive learned from TV ad that SSS is having its Condonation program where members who have an overdue loan can now settle their obligations with lesser burden :). I would like to speak less so I just advise you to hover your mouse here ,right click and open link in new tab.
The Condonation program wasn't for me but for my father. Over 2 decades ago, (yes! that long) my father filed for an SSS loan. Unfortunately, when he transferred to new company, the latter failed to pay his monthly amortizations. The loan that was just P4000 balloon into P21,760.24. So yesterday morning, with my father's SSS ID, I lined up at the counter 1 of the nearest SSS branch to speak to account personnel.
We only have to pay for P936, that's a 3-month contribution worth before we can avail of the said program. If we choose to settle my father's overdue balance in full, it will only cost us P10,322.44. On the other hand, we have another options. If we opted to pay it in 1 year, the monthly payment shall be P981.88 for a total of P11,782.56. The last option would be paying P498.29/month but this will be in 2 years. I guess the latter would be our best option. By next week, my sister and I are going to settle this and then head back to the SSS office.
We only stayed for less than 30 minutes and then we took an MRT. I was with my ever supportive boyfriend by the way. We pick-up the items at Shaw Blvd. for my customers and replenish my load wallet.
Our last stop was at the MOA.Transportation is very accessible from Shaw Blvd. going to MOA. It was just a bus away so that's plus for me since it was a less hassle for us. We're on to MOA not for a movie date-slash-strolling but for something Ive been meaning to do: Get myself Freedom Plan from Smart.
It was such an easy thing though it took me almost 40 minutes to get everything done. I applied for Smart Freedom Plan to avoid worrying whenever I run out of load and sneak out in the middle of the night to go to Aling Coring to top up my sim. That was before. The worse is if she herself has no available balance on her load wallet. Sira ang lovelife! Chos! I have the freedom to choose whatever bucket I would like to subscribe. The other reason is that I have to promptly response to my customer's concern so it's a must for me to have load credits anytime and anywhere. I highly valued my relationship with my customer so it's important for me to reply on their text queries. I'll be making a different post about it for sure.
After the long (but not tiring) day, baby and I had a voracious appetite. Oh wait! I forgot to mention, I paid our water bill too prior to my Smart application. That's how my Monday went.How about you? How was your day?
